Does your department offer internships or co-ops during the summer? Look no further than University Housing for all your intern, research or co-op housing needs.
Each summer University Housing offers on-campus housing accommodations to degree-seeking students taking a class or completing an internship/co-op in the local area. Our goal is to provide convenient, affordable accommodations for students from around the country and globe who are advancing their education through summer activities like classes, co-ops, internships and research.
Interns are housed in the Wolf Village Apartment Complex on campus. Each fully furnished apartment contains two full bathrooms, four single bedrooms, a living room, full kitchen and a washer/dryer unit. The apartment complex features a fitness room, 24-hour service desk, volleyball courts and a Wolfline bus stop for quick access to campus. Basic utilities, Internet and cable in the living room are also included in the monthly rate.
Students who live in intern housing come from as far away as the University of Southern California and as nearby as Wake Forest University. To help students develop a sense of community, our summer staff members provide bi-monthly programs for visiting students.
The summer season kicks off with a Memorial Day cookout. This is a great way for the interns to mix, mingle and meet students from other universities and disciplines. Other programs include recreational activities, ice cream socials, game nights and a trip to downtown Raleigh for the July Fourth celebration.
Intern Housing begins in mid-May and runs through early-August. Early arrival and late departure arrangements can be made based on availability. Intern Housing sign-up begins in late fall. Visit our website for more information.
